The dynamic moving-coil microphone M 88 is the microphone of choice when your session demands the most from a microphone and its flexible application options impress. It can be used for miking vocals and instruments in the studio or on stage, and is especially popular for miking bass drums and guitar cabinets. Please note, when miking a kick drum, a WS 59 wind shield should also be used. The M 88's polar pattern is close to theoretically possible values, minimizing the risk of acoustic feedback. Thanks to its balanced frequency response, a variety of sound sources are accurately reproduced, creating a signal that's easy to edit at your will.
