A standard SY-1000 patch features three simultaneous instruments - each with a selection of unique types, allowing you to blend and layer them for an infinite palette of possible sounds. Thanks to the regular ¼" instrument input, you can mix your normal pickup tones with the three synthesizer instruments for even greater tonal possibilities.

Two Step Sequencers Bring Sounds to Life

With 16 customizable steps that offer individual control over pitch, filter, and amplitude, each sequencer step features 13 unique envelope curves for unparalleled tonal control. OSC Synth and GR-300

Two additional synth instruments complement the powerful Dynamic Synth: OSC Synth gives you an analog-style sound engine with plenty of filter options, full ADSR control, and high-fidelity sound via the discrete GK input. SY-1000 also features a faithful sonic recreation of the iconic 1980s Roland GR-300 - an analog guitar synth used by some of the world's most coveted players.

Configurable Control

Effortlessly reassign the SY-1000's eight footswitches to perform almost any function you need. With Manual mode, you get instant access to switch the three instruments and normal input on and off. Capable of accepting up to four external footswitches or two expression pedals, as well as MIDI compatibility, the expressiveness and control of the SY-1000 is greatly expanded. The Main and Sub outputs are used for mixed stereo signals by default, but are assignable as four discrete outputs - each with a dedicated EQ. Seamlessly and effortlessly integrate all of your favorite external gear thanks to the moveable effects loop.

Record Tracks and Play MIDI Instruments via USB

Discover a new realm of creative options inside your DAW of choice thanks to the SY-1000's USB audio/MIDI interface. Using the GK input, you can record each of your instrument's strings to separate audio tracks processed in real-time, or dry to manipulate in post. With the Guitar-to-MIDI/Bass-to-MIDI feature, you can perform soft synths, record MIDI sequences, input notation data, and more - all right from your instrument.
