Fusing the expressive and musical tone of a modified Cry Baby Wah with a gnarly custom fuzz circuit, the Cry Baby DareDevil Fuzz Wah from Dunlop and Daredevil Pedals offers a broad palette of raw and belligerent tones. Inspired by Daredevil owner and builder Johnny Wator's adoration for iconic vintage circuits, and his desire to create bold new sounds. Johnny took several years to refine this circuit, taking inspiration from his personal wah-playing guitar heroes, and began building them for friends and bandmates, before approaching Dunlop for consideration as an official addition to their offerings.
The result comes in the form of the Cry Baby DareDevil Fuzz Wah, and in true Daredevil fashion, it's simple, and straight up filthy. With a single external control, a heavy-duty baseball bat switch for engaging the fuzz circuit, the Cry Baby DareDevil houses two additional controls beneath the bottom plate: one to dial the pedal's output level when the fuzz is engaged, and another to dial in the perfect level of fuzzy goodness. Boost both the output and gain for an instantly powerful and gratifying lead tone - you're ready to rip in no time. This pedal ships in a custom enclosure with a vintage crinkle finish base, a polished aluminum rocker top, and a custom design tread. Each of these pedals is constructed by hand using thru-hole components and true bypass switching for a truly incredible ode to rock 'n' roll.
