Drawing inspiration from the classic CE-1 Chorus Ensemble circuit of the '70s, this digital stompbox has been expertly tweaked and refined to deliver an unparalleled chorus and vibrato experience. The expression control was included due to popular demand, and allows you to adjust Width, Rate, and Balance with any TRS expression pedal. Switching to Vibrato Mode results in a very subtle chorus with a swirling vibrato, allowing you to quickly and seamlessly alternate between the two - and that's just one mode. The Aurelius gives you endless possibilities.- Mode V: Vibrato - A familiar traditional chorus type effect reminiscent of vibrato with a triangle LFO modulating a short delay line. When the Balance control is cranked all the way up, the dry signal is removed and the effect becomes a pitch vibrato.
- Mode C: Chorus - Mode C combines Chorus and Flanger, with more warmth and slower rates than Mode V, this circuit employs a sine wave LFO to modulate the delay line. In this mode the Width parameter plays a huge role, and controls which type of modulation is more prominent.
- Mode R: Rotary Chorus - Modeled after the sound of a Leslie speaker cabinet, Mode R is a rotary chorus effect combining both amplitude and frequency modulation for a Doppler effect.
GLOBAL FEATURES
Operating Modes - Aurelius has two modes of operation, indicated by the color of the save/recall switch LED. In Live Mode, the pedal works exactly how the controls are set, and changes won't affect presets unless saved. In Preset Mode, the saved preset is selected by the using the Preset switch, ignoring the physical settings of the controls.
Presets - Aurelius has 6 preset slots for you to save and recall your favorite settings. Settings for the three knobs, Mode switch and expression jack assignments can be stored and recalled to any slot.
Expression Control - Control Width, Rate, or Balance using the TRS expression pedal. Each preset can store different EXP assignments. You can also use control voltage via the EXP jack.
Flexi-Switch® Technology - The device employs Flexi-Switch® technology, a relay-based true-bypass switching method which allows simultaneous use of momentary and latch switching.
