Its signature L-00 body shape—with a narrow waist and compact frame—delivers a tight, punchy low end and a clear, articulate voice that’s perfect for fingerstyle playing, blues, and beyond. Single-ply binding on both the top and back adds a clean, understated touch.

The utile neck is securely joined with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint and hot hide glue for optimal resonance and durability. A fast, comfortable SlimTaper™ profile makes for smooth fretting, while the rosewood fretboard, with its 12" radius and mother-of-pearl dot inlays, offers a classic feel and look. The 19-fret layout gives you ample range for expressive playing.

The L-00 Special is equipped with a rosewood rectangular closed-slot bridge, a TUSQ® saddle, nut, and bridge pins, and Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners for reliable intonation and stable tuning.
