Perfectly suited for basic chord work, or slick blues lead licks, this Southern Jumbo is a thoroughly versatile guitar. Rounded out with an open slot bridge, a bone saddle and nut, and displaying the "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" slogan proudly on the headstock, this guitar is finished with Light Aging, courtesy of Murphy Lab's master artisans.
Combining lightly aged hardware with a gorgeous Light Aging finish by the Murphy Lab's master craftsmen, the 1942 Banner Southern Jumbo faithfully simulates decades of light play wear, giving it the unique mojo of a vintage example from the Golden Era of Gibson.
