In the digital realm, virtually anything is possible - but to use a digital rig in a live setting, you need an amplifier and speaker cabinet that recreates the studio sound accurately, at volume, without colouring the signal. Enter the Laney LFR-112 powered speaker cabinet which makes short work of this issue. With integrated switchable cabinet emulation, you can add the frequency response of a real cabinet of your choice to the DI signal without having to put a mic on the grille. Most standard cabinets of most sizes and configurations are built in a way that throws sounds straight past the player's legs, but with the in-built Tilt Mechanism, you have the option to tilt the cabinet back, allowing the sound to travel up towards your ears for a more streamlined monitoring approach.
