Shell

Expertly crafted in the USA, Neusonic shells feature a 7-ply, 5.5mm design constructed with a 4-ply Maple exterior and a 3-ply Cherry interior to deliver outstanding power, resonance, and sustain.

Bearing Edge

Thanks to the single 45° bearing edge and ¹⁄₁₆" back cut, Neusonic shells boast a broad tuning range and unmatched sustain.

RFST Molding

For greater stability throughout the shell, all Ludwig USA shells are constructed using Radio Frequency Shell Technology. RFST's unique bonding method, combined with a proprietary, time-tested adhesive is a process that uses Ludwig's historic bladder molds from the late-'60s to cure each shell evenly across it's entire surface. This construction method is a crucial element in delivering the classic Ludwig Sound in every shell they make.
