This stompbox delivers an outstanding range of smooth, musical sounds - from a growl that thickens up your sound, to chest-thumping dub tones - all in a compact MXR mini housing.

With a lush and vocal tone, the Vintage Bass Octave features two engines - one octave down, and two octaves down. Each can be individually dialed in with their respective volume control knobs, with a Dry volume control that blends in your clean signal to find the perfect balance for your setup. A Mid switch boosts the midrange of the clean signal by +6dB at 800Hz, adding even more articulation and definition, and by removing the bottom plate and tweaking the internal trimpot, can boost the mids by up to +13dB. Finally, with Constant Headroom Technology, the Vintage Bass Octave delivers pristine headroom by boosting the 9V power supply to 18V internally.
