RELIABLE MONITORING ANYWHERE Neumann's automatic adjustment software MA 1 is a special tool for adjusting network-enabled KH Line monitors in stereo systems and in stereo systems with bass management by an additional subwoofer. Non-networked (analog) KH Line monitors can be adjusted via MA 1 if they are connected to a KH 750 DSP/AES67 subwoofer. Unlike traditional correction software, MA 1 is an integrated solution with new algorithms developed specifically for Neumann studio monitors. No plug-ins or special audio drivers are required. The alignment data is stored and processed in the DSP-equipped speakers themselves. For analog Neumann studio monitors connected to a KH 750 DSP/AES67 subwoofer (i.e. without network connection), MA 1 offers the added benefit that the phase response is also linearized. This functionality is already built into all network-enabled speakers with digital electronics, but the DSP capabilities of the KH 750 make it possible in analog Neumann studio monitors as well – resulting in even greater accuracy of tonality, impulse reproduction and stereo positioning.
