Celebrating 75 years of Pearl's storied history of drum quality and innovation, Pearl's President Series Deluxe Drums are a modern take on a vintage classic. Inspired by the very origins of the World's Largest Drum Company, President Deluxe Series brings back the subtle warmth of the original tone wood to deliver a traditionally full-bodied sound and controlled playing experience.

Lauan Shell

Taking inspiration from Pearl's historic origins of drum manufacturing, Lauan was the original source of the "MIJ" (Made in Japan) tone. This medium/hardwood boasts a darker tone, and was the foundation of thousands of shells produced by Mitsuo Yanagisawa in Pearl's Japanese factory beginning in 1961. Loud, yet dampened, Lauan produces a deep, punchy attack with plenty of high-end response.

Internal Tone Mufflers

With a robust tension dial and multi-layered felt dampening pad, the IM-100PHC Internal Muffler allows you to find the perfect amount of decay by allowing head contact under the batter - anywhere from the lightest touch, to full contact for a vast range of tonal possibilities.

SuperHoop II

With an optimum 2.3mm thickness, these robust triple-flanged hoops offer accurate and stable tuning during performances, without sacrificing the resonance of the shell.

Lugs

First introduced in 1969 for Pearl's flagship kits like the President Series, the "C-043" lug has since been referred to as "The Battleship Lug" by collectors because of the angular profile of it's design. The all-new BSL-100 features the same sophisticated look and self-aligning design, but with a more durable construction for superior tuning stability.

T-Handle Bass Drum Rods

The T-090 T-handle rods are paired with Pearl's new insulated classic Claw via a small T-066 extension sleeve for a classic hand-tunable performance and stunning vintage mojo. The contact points of each Claw employ felt insulators to protect the finish on the kick drum hoop.

"Gullwing" Spurs

With an angle secure memory lock on each spur, the LB-75 Bracket also includes a retractable spike tip, with a design that folds into the kick drum's profile for effortless set-up and tear-down.

Bracket

With an internal grip function for height adjustment and an angled T-nut for easier case storage, the President Series brackets feature debossed Pearl logos for a hint of class and sophistication.

Classic Logo/Classic Script Badge

The inclusion of Pearl's elegantly classic original script badge and classic kick drum logo is exclusively featured on Pearl's 75th Anniversary Limited Edition President Series kits.

Remo Drum Heads

President Series kits are outfitted with Remo Coated Smooth White Ambassador and CS Clear "Black Dot" heads to get the most out of each shell.
