The subwoofer uses a custom-made 18" highly efficient woofer with a 3" voice coil, driven by a powerful 1500W CLASS-D high-headroom amplifier with DSP dynamic control for distortion-free maximum output and consistent reliability. The sophisticated preamp section includes advanced processing with a high-performance DSP processor, resulting in a linear response and high-resolution sound. A user interface with an LCD display and single button control allows for quick selection and viewing of processor parameters. These parameters include the selection of crossover frequency, phase and delay for perfect coupling with the satellite in use. A cardioid configuration is also available, allowing two DIVASUB18A to be coupled together, doubling the system's front efficiency and significantly reducing rear radiation. The DIVASUB18A is housed in a lightweight and extremely durable plywood case equipped with a steel protective grille, two ergonomic handles, a flange for a support rod with M20 connection and four professional wheels with a braking system for maximum comfort and reliability during transport.
