The sE7's custom capsule is designed for natural, balanced sound quality, and the ultra-thin diaphragm delivers excellent transient response. Its cardioid polar pattern is perfect for most studio and stage applications and delivers great sound from almost any source.
With the highest quality components, and a very short signal path, the sE7 is the quietest microphone in its class. The transformerless design guarantees exceptional sound quality, reproducing instruments with outstanding clarity and dimension.
A switchable -20dB attenuation pad prevents clipping preamps and mixers and provides a wide dynamic range allowing close miking techniques for even the loudest sources like brass instruments and snare drums.
An onboard 80 Hz low-cut filter helps remove low-frequency rumble and footsteps, as well as compensate for excessive bass (proximity effect) when using close-miking techniques.
