The custom DMC7 X capsule features the same innovative and specialized aluminum voice coil design as the V7 Dynamic. Aluminum is a much lighter material than the industry standard (copper), resulting in an open, transient richness with deep, clear bass and a very balanced midrange that supports the natural resonance of percussion instruments.

V BEAT's advanced internal capsule suspension effectively isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations, decoupling it from impacts and eliminating the need for external shock mounts.

The DMC7 X capsule's excellent off-axis rejection helps isolate the drums from other sources, effectively reducing stage bleed and spill from other instruments on stage or in the studio.

V BEAT's rugged housing is made entirely of metal. The chassis' high-quality, durable die-cast zinc alloy and dent-resistant, corrosion-free spring steel grille are designed to withstand years of everyday touring wear and tear.

The V BEAT uses an incredibly low-profile mechanical design with an XLR connector and tripod mount integrated side-by-side underneath the flexible swivel mount. This minimizes V BEAT's footprint and removes all cables from sight, eliminating the need for right angle adapters or special cables.
