This grand auditorium features a back and sides made of solid Honduran rosewood. It is a dense, hard wood that produces a surprisingly harmonious texture with warm tones, piano-like high notes, and a smooth touch. For the top, carefully selected redwood, a wood sourced from the trunks of ancient trees sunk in Northern California riverbeds. Redwood's warmth and touch sensitivity are comparable to cedar, but it's louder and has an expanded dynamic range. Internal V-class bracing creates high-fidelity sound, complemented by rich harmonics and incredible pitch accuracy. Comfort-enhancing features include chamfered armrests and cutaway chamfered body edges, as well as a smoothly curved wing bridge, creating a truly seamless feel. The Builder's Edition 914ce is expertly decorated with Hawaiian Koa inlays, Paua Edge trim, Ebony backstrap, antique gold Gotoh 510 tuners, Belle Fleur inlays in Paua and Mother of Pearl, and beautiful Kona edgeburst on the back and sides - Gloss Finish.
