This powerful unit gives you a Presence control to dial in the perfect amount of definition and harmonic overtones, a Blend control to mix in the dry signal for outstanding clarity and cut, and an active EQ section specifically tuned for bass with 12dB of boost or cut.

With 5 and 6 string bass guitars being so prevalent in today's current musical landscape, Tech 21 have included a switch to shift the bass frequency into lower registers, as well as a mid-range control and switch to shift it's frequency. The heart of the SansAmp Bass Driver and it's iconic tones remain faithful to the coveted original design.

Offering a vast range of classic bass amp tones, SansAmp Bass Driver includes the hefty sounds of Bassman and SVT amplifiers, along with dirty, harmonically rich overdrive sounds that usually require a more complex chain of effects.

Built-In Speaker/Cab Sim

Featuring SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology, the Bass Driver DI faithfully recreates an entire signal chain - from preamp, to power amp, and even the speaker. The SansAmp speaker emulation is a critical component of the circuitry, and perfectly compliments any type of guitar or bass speaker cabinet. Designed and meticulously tuned for the smooth, balanced response you'd expect from a multi-miked cabinet, the SansAmp speaker sim delivers incredible tone without the peaks, valleys, and notches associated with many of today's available IRs.

Expanded Functionality

For convenient use in multiple live and studio environments, SansAmp Bass Driver DI is equipped with three outputs - an effected XLR, an effected ¼", and a parallel, uneffected ¼". Engaging the pedal activates the Tube Amplifier Emulation circuitry, while using the SansAmp Bass Driver DI in bypass allows it to function as a standard transparent active direct box.
