So much more than just a simple boost and compressor pedal, this dynamic toolkit shapes your tone with shimmering cleans and responsive compression either into the front of your amplifier, or directly into your recording interface.

The boost featured in the Cory Wong Compressor is based on the classic MDX Strat boost style circuitry - a favorite of Eric Clapton. A "Comp On" switch located on the side of the pedal engages the compression circuit permanently when pushed - perfect for live setting when you only want to stomp on the boost. The Cory Wong Compressor also includes an XLR output, allowing for direct connections to a PA or recording interface, and the Ground Lift switch is handy for eliminating troublesome ground noise. Cory needed a versatile boost with tonal options, so the Boost side boasts a single rotary control that governs the amount of boost active in the signal, and a Profile switch which alters the mode of the boost circuit between a flat boost and a rich saturated boost with extra presence around 550Hz.

The Cory Wong Compressor features a balanced XLR output - a first for Wampler - which allows you to connect straight into an interface, mixing console, or PA for those iconic bright and clean tones, and the independent Ground Lift switch eliminates unwanted hum.

Total Tone Control

The Compressor side of this pedal gives you total control over Volume, Sustain, Attack, and Blend, along with Wampler's signature Tone control which can be used to add brilliance and chime to your sounds. The Blend control lets you mix in your dry signal with the compressed signal for a more subtle compression effect.
