The RUio16-D is a groundbreaking audio interface in a compact housing, yet rugged enough to withstand the rigors of touring, and acts as a bridge between Dante, analog, and USB signals. Pairing this interface with the included VST Rack Pro plug-in host software creates a plug-in platform that allows users the freedom to easily integrate VST plug-ins to the system. This device boasts a variety of input and output jacks that are useful in various situations, such as sending computer processed audio to a mixer via Dante, and a studio-grade preamp for acoustic measurement and other uses.

A compact yet rugged interface

The RUio16-D is compact enough to be held in one hand, making it easy to carry on board when traveling. Furthermore, the product is built inside a robust enclosure that can withstand the demands of touring. M4 size screw holes on the bottom of the case make the RUio16-D mountable on a rack shelf.

Enjoy a highly flexible plug-in environment

Engineers can use the RUio16-D in combination with the included VST Rack Pro software to create a stable plug-in environment. This setup allows the engineer to integrate their favorite pre-purchased VST3 plug-ins for live performance and studio use, as well as over 30 different standard plug-ins that come with VST Rack Pro.

Bypass function for minimizing potential trouble

A Bypass USB switch on the front of the RUio16-D bypasses audio transmission from the plug-in side. This feature is included should a problem occur with your computer and prevents issues that can cause sound to stop on the entire system.

The RUio16-D also features Dante redundancy, latches on the XLR connectors and a locking mechanism on the USB jacks that supply power, all painstakingly designed to minimize potential trouble.

Bundled with a wide variety of plug-ins
VST Rack Pro includes a suite of over 30 popular and incredible sounding plug-ins developed by Yamaha and Steinberg. These include the Buss Comp 369, acclaimed by RIVAGE PM users. REVerence, which offers sampled reverbs in stunning quality, SuperVision, which is useful for loudness management, and other plugins that can be used in various other applications.
