Recording WAV files to optional microSD media recording is supported, and you can capture the stereo mix output or multitrack performance either pre or post fader. Use the dedicated panel buttons to control recording and playback, and use the Mark function to conveniently create markers and speed up the post-editing process. Gigcaster 8 also provides a studio-grade front end for your DAW, functioning as a 20x14 USB interface.
