Features Featuring two different EQs found on editions of the SSL 4000 E console built between 1981 and 1989. Each EQ has unique curves and tonal footprint. Traditionally, the type of EQ in a console was distinguished by the colours used on the LF knob, so the flavours have become known as the 'Brown' and 'Black' EQs. On the E Series EQ 500 Series Module, you can switch between those two different characters of EQ, granting you access to the flavours adored by generations of producers and engineers.
