TASCAM Sonicview offers best-in-class audio performance, thanks to a 54-bit floating point FPGA mixing engine, 32-bit/96kHz high resolution, continuous sampling, and 32-bit analog-to-digital converters. The mixing engine's floating-point processing allows flexible levels without compromising resolution, and the FPGA mixing engine maintains ultra-low latency even on analog-to-analog connections. The TASCAM Sonicview 24 features 24 channels with XLR mic/line inputs, or 8 channels with XLR mic inputs and balanced TRS line inputs. There are also TRS insert points on two channels, two stereo pairs of RCA AUX inputs, and an XLR input to connect a talkback mic.

Each TASCAM Sonicview mic input feeds a TASCAM Class 1 HDIA (High Definition Instrumentation Architecture) preamplifier. This is the best mic preamp TASCAM has ever manufactured. The HDIA Class 1 mic preamp has fantastic EIN, S/N ratio, distortion ratio, and frequency response thanks to an instrument amplifier with good incredible noise characteristics in the first stage. TASCAM Sonicview ultra-high definition mic preamps pick up the tiniest nuances, from the rosin of a violin bow to subtle dynamic changes in voices and brass instruments. The mic inputs can handle signals up to +32 dBu, providing sufficient headroom for sudden level spikes.

In addition to the main L/R stereo bus, the TASCAM Sonicview 24 offers 22 output flex busses, each of which can be configured as a subgroup, aux, or matrix. Provide multiple stereo in-ear monitor submixes and send them to analog outputs without running out of busses. Create matrix mixes of multiple speaker zones and send to restaurants and worship services over the Dante network. All output buses feature 31-band graphic EQ, real-time spectrum analyzer, 4-band parametric EQ, compressor/ducker, delay, solo, pan and mute. By assigning four additional effects processors to individual mixer channels, you can get even more, including stunning reverb effects.

Dante-enabled for Superior Networking

Dante® Audio-over-IP networks integrate thousands of concert touring systems and systems installed in recording studios, radio stations, conference rooms, churches and more. TASCAM Sonicview console can act as the audio center for these systems thanks to its integrated 64-in/64-out Dante interface with Dante Domain Manager support and AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 interoperability. Two Dante ports allow for redundant streams.

Simply connect your Wi-Fi router to the TASCAM Sonicview's Ethernet port and use the free TASCAM Sonicview Control software for macOS, Windows and iPadOS to manage your TASCAM Sonicview 24 from essentially anywhere in the venue. Edit settings in advance offline to be ready when the session or show starts, then adjust via console or software.

In addition to audio I/O, Dante and USB connectivity, TASCAM Sonicview features an 8-in/8-out GPIO connector (on a DB25 connector) for external control, making it perfect for event and relay applications. BNC word clock In and Out/Thru allows for digital audio synchronization, and an Ethernet port connects to a Wi-Fi router for wireless control. The TASCAM Sonicview also has two TASCAM expansion slots, which accept a selection of expansion cards.
