This is nearly double the original the Modwave's 32, an unprecedented number for a wavetable synthesizer at any price. The new 4U rackmount enclosure features the same controls as the keyboard model, but is more portable and easily fits into your studio or desktop production system. In response to user requests, we've updated all LFOs with free running, delayed start, and retrigger options. Also added are pre/post switches for reverb sends, new modulation sources, and more. A software update will also be available for the original modwave. Modwave modules are fully compatible with sounds and samples from original Modwave, Modwave mk II, and Modwave native software, as well as many excellent third-party libraries. MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange and Polyphonic Aftertouch Support With the latest software update, all Modwave models, hardware, and software now support MIDI 2.0 property exchange and provide easy access to polyphonic aftertouch, making them an excellent partner for KORG's keystage controllers. Rack-Mount and Desktop Modwave modules are cleverly designed for desktop and rack-mount use. The panel has been redesigned to fit a standard 19 width, and the rear jack panel is recessed for easy access to cables even when equipment is mounted directly above. For desktop setups, the mount allows you to choose the angle of the panel. Lay it flat if you're performing standing up, or upright if you're working seated in the studio.
